Spirit is a grey Welsh TB colt out of Friars Sion (Sec. A Welsh) and Silver Candy (Small TB Mare). He has the gentle disposition of both his mother and father. He could be a top pony hunter with the right trainer. He has been extensively handled since birth. He leads, Ties, Loads and Clips. He stands perfectly for the farrier, which is great, since he is just a yearling. He is currently 13.2 hands as a yearling. I expect him to mature between 14.0 and 14.2 hands. Spirit achieved a 7.6 High First Premium rating at his Sport Pony inspection. The inspector commented on his calm personality for a yearling colt. His sportpony registered name is Free Spirit King. As a Sport Pony he should act and look like a small horse, and that describes Spirit to a tee. He is very brave, yet easy to handle. He has been handled from the day he was born. He learned to tie next to his mother at 2 months old.
